Releasing Trevon Diggs early was more than just an accounting procedure but rather a statement by the Cowboys. Are more moves coming?

The Cowboys have moved on from the Diggs decision quickly. Schottenheimer addressed his locker room about Dallas' decision to move on from All-Pro edge rusher Micah Parsons, but he didn't feel the need to do so with the move off of Diggs.

Diggs’ arrival in Green Bay also reunited him with former Alabama safety Xavier McKinney. The defensive backs were Crimson Tide teammates for three seasons. McKinney joined the Packers last season as a free agent and earned first-team All-Pro recognition in 2024.
